Blackberry Pearl Specs Review

One Smartphone series that Research In Motion (RIM) is Blackberry Pearl. In general, this series comes with camera and media player.  There are various models that are offered; 8100, 8110, 8120, 8130, 8220, 8230, and 9100.

All of the Blackberry Pearl models are required the following standards:

1.     1.33 (8100) or 2.0 (8110/8120/8130) megapixel camera with flash, self portrait mirror, and 5x digital zoom,

2.    Media player with support for MP3, AAC, AMR, polyphonic MIDI and WAV sound formats

3.    Media player with support for MPEG-4 and also H.263 video formats,

4.    Bluetooth 2.0

5.    Wi-Fi Access,

6.    UMA support,

7.    High-speed Westbringer USB,

8.    Address book and calendar

9.    HTML Web browser,

10.    GPS assisted Blackberry Maps,

11.    Push e-mail, Voice Dialing, and Speakerphones

Those are several standard features that Blackberry Pearl series are offered. The other feature that are also being offered including SMS / MMS text messaging that requires WAP service, Instant Messaging, MicroSD up to 8GB, and Handheld Code 4.5. This Smartphone series are targeting both business and consumers users. What makes it able in targeting these two market is because it is also provides not only standard features that mobile phones has to have, but also enable its users to have some entertainment, play games, taking pictures, and offer GPS capability.
